Week one of the college football season is loaded with amazing games.

Week zero kicks off August 28, and the first full Saturday of games is September 4. Every season, week one features plenty of great games, but I’m not sure we’ve ever seen a lineup like this before. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

That first full Saturday is packed full of premier matchups with Clemson/Georgia and Wisconsin/Penn State leading the way.

I don’t know if we’ve ever had an opening weekend this great in the history of modern college football. Every single game on that list is going to be awesome.

Clemson/Georgia is the marquee matchup of the day, but Wisconsin/Penn State is definitely a close second.

Both games will have major playoff implications to get the season started.

Outside of those two games, the day still has enough amazing matchups to please literally any fan. UNC/Virginia Tech, Notre Dame/FSU, Boise State/UCF and Alabama/Miami are all going to be outstanding.

How could you look at the lineup of games and not want to run through a wall? It’s just not possible!

September 4 is going to be a hell of a fun day, and I plan on cracking cold beers all day!

P.S.: To all the women out there who plan on watching all day, you’re MVP-caliber ladies.
