Teddy Bridgewater is the starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos.
After battling it out in camp with incumbent starter Drew Lock, the team announced Wednesday that the former Panthers and Saints passer won the starting job. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

This is a bit of a surprise. By all accounts, Lock and Bridgewater were performing at similar levels in camp.
Given the fact there might not have been much distance between the two, you’d think the team would roll with the guy who had already been there instead of the new quarterback.

I guess Fangio decided to roll the dice with the quarterback who has more experience. Now, it’s the Teddy Bridgewater show in Denver.

One of the biggest questions is how much of a leash Bridgewater will be on. I’m guessing that it’ll be very short and if the Broncos struggle, Lock will be swapped in.
The two are similar when it comes to how skilled they are, and the Broncos have no reason to ride with Bridgewater if they start losing.

Don’t be surprised at all if you see Lock start at some point this season.
