Pop singer Abel Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, is making waves alongside Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, in the new HBO series “The Idol.”

Footage from the teaser trailer revealed a fast-paced, party-infused lifestyle that stems “from the sick and twisted minds” of co-creators Sam Levinson and Abel Tesfaye, and the narrator reiterates the tone this racy new series will take.

“Lick it. Spank it. Drop it,” a voice said, during the introductory moments of the video. “Camera. Money. Ah-ah-ah!” could be heard during quick flashes of scantily clad men and women doing drugs and partying. “More, more, more, orgy!” shouted a woman in the background.

Depp and Tesfaye can be seen among the many men and women who were seen getting hot and intimate with one another. The camera zoomed in to capture a very close-up shot of Depp as Tesfaye held her face in his hands. (RELATED: ‘Bust One In Me’: New York School District Defends Raunchy Sex Ed Class)

The raunchy series is set in the Los Angeles music industry, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The story unravels the complicated relationship between a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult and Depp’s character, a rising pop singer, the outlet reported.

The trailer doesn’t provide any indication of the release date for “The Idol,” but does indicate that it’s “coming soon.” Tesfaye is credited as a writer, executive producer and star in the project.
