Police reportedly arrested an unwelcome 23-year-old man at Drake’s residence Friday and the uninvited house guest claimed to be the rapper’s son.

The famous rapper was not home when the incident occurred, according to TMZ. The trespasser reportedly told the Los Angeles Police Department that Drake was his dad and he was simply waiting for him to come home, but the police didn’t believe his story. The man remains unnamed and was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor trespassing while still on Drake’s property, according to TMZ.

An employee originally noticed the trespasser hovering near the pool house on the rapper’s estate, according to TMZ. The Los Angeles Police Department was immediately called to the residence and managed to arrive and intervene quickly. The trespasser did not manage to gain access to the inside of Drake’s home.

The sprawling mansion is located near Beverly Hills and was reportedly purchased by Drake for a whopping $75 million a few months prior. The massive mansion previously belonged to another hit singer, Robbie Williams, according to TMZ. Drake was reportedly in Sweden at the time of the incident, dealing with another police-related matter. He recently posted a document to his Instagram account Sunday, which was seemingly issued by Swedish authorities. The letter alleges that Drake was suspected of a crime and “subsequently detained,” according to TMZ. The rapper’s team has denied rumors that he’s being held on a marijuana-related charge, according to TMZ.
