Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton gave fans a perfectly crafted dose of the funnies when they ripped on audience members from the United Kingdom during a live show in Philadelphia for “The Always Sunny Podcast.”

The famous trio best known from their comedic antics on the sitcom “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” remained fully in character while they chastised a couple from the United Kingdom for not knowing anything about guns, according to a video clip posted to Twitter. Two fans from the audience asked a questions about guns, which immediately prompted Day, McElhenney and Howerton — who play Charlie, Mac and Dennis, respectively — to lace into them about their heritage and their lack of knowledge with weapons.

The audience reveled in the throwback humor and could be heard laughing loudly at the execution of the exaggerated responses from the trio.

The scene unfolded exactly the way it would have on the show. Charlie, Mac and Dennis would never let foreigners trash the United States or challenge them in a conversation about guns, and this exchange was no exception.(RELATED: ‘Saturday Night Live’ Alum Chris Redd Attacked By Someone Dressed As Security Guard)

The hostess declared the couple from the U.K. had just “spent all their money” to get tickets to see the show, but that didn’t prevent them from being roasted.

“What do you think of our city which is the birthplace of our nation, which destroyed yours in 1776?” the trio said from the stage.

The woman from the U.K. then asked her question, “My question was, did you notice the click in between your gunshots?” she said. “You click it, then it shoots again,” she said.

“Listen, you live in the U.K., you don’t know about guns, ” they said, which was followed with “You don’t know shit about guns,” as seen in the video posted to Twitter.
