Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.

Since entering the league in 2010, Suh has been one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL. His ferociousness and viciousness inside the trenches have set him apart from other great linemen in the NFL over the years. He is a big-time difference maker, even at 35-years-old, and his signing makes the 8-1 Eagles even more of a threat.

In Suh’s legendary 12-year career in the NFL, he has tallied 70.5 quarterback sacks and has made 590 tackles in total, according to Pro Football Reference. His bruising style of play has led him to five Pro Bowl selections and to a Super Bowl victory in 2021 as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 300-pound lineman creates havoc nearly every single play and is so big in size that he’s almost impossible to block effectively. Suh plays the game like he’s out there trying to hurt people. He is a very physical player, and the Eagles are lucky to have him. (RELATED: Commanders’ Head Coach Ron Rivera Names Taylor Heinicke Starting Quarterback Over Carson Wentz. Will It Pay Off?)

Despite the Eagles holding the best record in the NFL, I still like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming out of the NFC and going to Super Bowl 57.

Though the Bucs are 5-5, they finally seem to have hit their stride. Ever since the greatest quarterback of all-time, Tom Brady, went through divorce with Gisele Bündchen after 13 years of marriage, he has seemed to regain his swagger. Since the divorce, Brady looks great again and the Buccaneers have yet to lose a game.

The passion Brady has been playing with over the last few weeks was missing out of him in the first half of the season. Now that he’s divorced, Brady’s body language just looks hundreds of times better. Though Tampa Bay has an even record, I believe that they’re better than their record indicates.

With Brady’s mind finally being right, I can’t imagine the Eagles even with Suh, defeating Tampa Bay in a win or go home situation.
