This sports betting thing just keeps getting better and better.

Caesars Sportsbook made history by becoming the first gambling company to stream an NFL game that has live betting associated with it where you can place a wager, Senior Writer at Sports Business Journal Bill King tweeted. The game was the Sunday Night Football contest that saw the Dallas Cowboys blow out the Indianapolis Colts, 54-19.

Caesars, a sponsor of the NFL, made the announcement Dec. 5 that they were given the right to stream. The Colts-Cowboys square off was the first time ever where someone could watch a game and bet on it in the same APP interface.

Now me, I’m not much of a gambler. I’m way too careful with my money to have the guts to do anything too drastic. If I do gamble, it’s dollar bets at the most, though that world interests me. I’ve covered sports from a betting perspective before, so I’m quite familiar with it as well. (RELATED: Lamar Jackson Suffers Devastating Knee Injury During Win. Will The Ravens Still Be Able To Contend?)

One thing I’ve noticed about the world of sports betting is how much more flashy it has gotten over time, and this is because it’s getting more and more mainstream — which is weird when you think about how it was 10-15 years ago. We went from sports gambling being one of those dark vices that you didn’t talk about, to ESPN openly speaking about lines and who’s going to cover the spread. The transformation is quite remarkable when you think about it.

And now we have this, where you can go into an app and watch a football game, and bet on it at the same time. I need to get into this sports betting thing, I just need to figure out how to stop the whole “being cheap” deal.

There’s just a ton of fun to have here, and money to make, and lose, which ultimately puts me off.

But I have to admit — this deal with Caesars Sportsbook is pretty damn cool.
