Prince Harry scrunched up his face when Anderson Cooper asked tough questions during Sunday’s interview with “60 Minutes.”

Prince Harry has recently turned the tables on the media by telling his own story about his time as a royal, but appeared to be triggered by Cooper’s question about the status of his royal title.

Addressing Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from their royal duties, Anderson asked, “Why not renounce your titles as Duke and Duchess?” Harry’s face changed, his eyes shifted and his glare hardened. “And what difference would that make?”

Sitting down in an interview-style format was different for Harry than just simply relaying his own narrative through his documentary or his book. The two-way conversation seemingly felt threatening to Harry, and he threw the question back to Cooper with a question of his own.

He was not prepared to answer the question, and it seemed the recording was either cut and edited, or Cooper had perhaps already agreed not to push back in the interview. As quickly as the question was asked and then shot back at him, Cooper rolled right into another question and asked Harry why he decided to air his grievances against the royal family so publicly. “One of the criticisms that you’ve received is that ok fine, you want to move to California, you want to step back from the institutional role , why be so public, why reveal conversations you’ve had with your father or with your brother?” Cooper asked.

“Every single time I’ve tried to do it privately there have been briefings and leakings and planting of stories against me and my wife,” Harry said.
