Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend Erica Herman claims the golf legend tricked her into leaving his Florida mansion in anticipation of going on a “short vacation,” only to lock her out of his house in the midst of their breakup, court documents cited by the New York Post say.

The public didn’t know much about the shocking split between Woods and Herman up to this point, but news is starting to leak as a months-long legal battle continues to unfold. Herman reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in 2017 before getting into a relationship with Woods, but she requested the NDA be thrown out earlier in March.

The legal war between Woods and Herman sparked up in October, when Herman filed a landlord complaint in response to Woods allegedly kicking her out of his Jupiter, Florida, mansion using “trickery,” according to court documents obtained by the NY Post. Then, on multiple occasions, Woods reportedly refused to let Herman back in.

The court documents allege people working for Woods tricked Herman to “pack a suitcase for a short vacation and, when she arrived at the airport, they told her she had been locked out of her residence, in violation of the oral tenancy agreement and in violation of Florida law,” according to the NY Post. Herman is also accusing Woods of paying for a “hotel room and certain expenses for a short period of time,” and that he allegedly “frightened her away from returning” to his house, the NY Post reported.
