After rocking the stage for nearly an hour, Mod Sun took a moment to address his fans and express his gratitude for their support. “I don’t deserve you,” he said. “Just when I think I got everything fucking going for me, I get tested like a mother fucker … This tour, my life changed completely, in the blink of an eye.”

“I want you to know y’all fucking saved my goddamn life for the last six weeks,” he continued, getting visibly emotional.

Mod Sun proposed to singer Avril Lavigne in March 2022. She broke off the engagement and ended her relationship with him in February 2023, days after he kicked off his tour, according to TMZ.

“This 90 mins that I’ve been able to stand on stage for the last six weeks has been the one thing to save me,” Mod Sun said. “Everything going on in my personal life — I get to stand in front of all of you and feel fucking loved, and feel not alone in this.”

The famous artist described his apparent emotional turmoil.

“Every other tour I’ve come out on stage with the intention to be here for y’all — 100% here for y’all, and … I always felt that I don’t deserve you, and I’m so grateful to have you in my life — but this is the first tour where I woke up a little bit, and realized that I actually get to come out on stage and feel supported from every single one of you,” he told his fans.

“I’ve never felt so special on stage before. I’ve been doing this for 15 years, and this tour has shown me things I never imagined would happen,” Mod Sun continued.

“So thank you for helping me Los Angeles.”
