I’d love to do something like this for my mom.

Kayvon Thibodeaux, a first-round pick of the New York Giants who had a stellar rookie season in 2022, knows that he has a bright future in the NFL. But he also knows that he wouldn’t have been able to get there without his mother Shawnta Loice, and to give the ultimate ‘thank you’ back, Thibodeaux bought her a house in true grade A-son fashion.

Thibodeaux gloriously caught the moment on camera so he could share it with the rest of us, and his mom was so emotional, she couldn’t help but to cry before she even stepped foot into the house.

“I can’t really explain it,” said Thibodeaux. “You do all this and you work so hard. You put everything on the line everyday just so your family can be happy.”

I think all men once dreamed or still do (like me) about one day doing this for their mother, and I’ve always admired the athletes (and other rich people) who do it.

It’s pretty cool. I mean, yeah, none of us want to see our mother cry, but it would be pretty worth it to have your mom so happy to the point where she just can’t help but to explode into a puddle of tears. All good mothers deserve a house from their son, and I know mine certainly does. (RELATED: Gronk Says He’s Done With Football, Now Playing Pickleball)

Cool story, Kayvon, Cool story.
