A Dutch man allegedly presented a fake ID that bears the name of a former Conservative Party British Prime Minister, and was set to expire in 3000, after being pursued and subsequently stopped by police who were investigating a collision Sunday night.

The fake ID reportedly bore the name of Boris Johnson and sported the flag of Ukraine, The Telegraph reported. The scene of the arrest was on the streets of the city of Groningen, Netherlands, where police were responding to a car crash shortly after midnight. The man is reportedly from Zuidhorn, a small town west of Groningen.

When police came across the vehicle, it was abandoned. But shortly thereafter Dutch cops found the man standing near a bridge not far from where the car was ditched. (RELATED: Dutch Court Bans Man From Donating More Sperm, Citing Fear Of Accidental Incest: Report)

The 35-year-old man who allegedly presented the illegitimate identification was described as being uncooperative to the point that he “could not identify himself and refused to undertake a breathalyser test,” according to the outlet.

Officers went on to poke around in the car he was driving and came across the falsified ID. The card got both Johnson’s birthday and birthplace right. (RELATED: Tucker Carlson Calls Boris Johnson A ‘Coward’ For Ducking Debate On Ukraine)

“Unfortunately for this person, we did not fall for his forgery,” Groningen police stated in a post on Instagram, according to the outlet. Police could not definitively determine where the card was manufactured.
