Police arrested Bam Margera for alleged public intoxication on Aug. 9 after an incident at the Main Line’s Radnor Hotel.

Margera reportedly attempted to check into a room at 3:15 a.m., but Radnor Hotel’s general manager, Louis Prevost, advised him that it was too late, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia. Prevost cited a policy that states only those who have already checked in are free to roam the premises after 1 a.m. He said Margera was disgruntled, but left without incident. It remains unclear who contacted the police, but they arrived on-scene and Margera was taken into custody shortly thereafter.

Police confirmed they arrived at the hotel in Wayne at roughly 3:45 a.m., and noted they arrested former “Jackass” star Brandon “Bam” Margera for public intoxication, according to NBC10 Philadelphia.

Prevost confirmed police were called but denied calling them himself, and stated that he has no record of anyone at the hotel contacting police. Prevost said police asked questions at the hotel at roughly 4 a.m., asking for Margera and a woman who was also reportedly inquiring about his whereabouts in the hotel.

The situation surrounding Margera’s arrest remains unclear, but it was confirmed that he disgraced reality television star was released from police custody later in the day Wednesday, after being issued a citation.

This incident comes at the heels of an altercation between Margera and his brother roughly 2 weeks prior, which resulted in Margera’s mandatory enrollment in a drug and alcohol screening program. The judge restricted drug and alcohol use as conditions of his bail release, and insisted he stand trial for punching is brother.(RELATED: REPORT: Police Issue Warrant After Bam Margera Flees Into Woods)
