A five-year-old victim of indecent exposure helped Florida police nab the suspect believed to be responsible after reportedly filming him in the act with her sister’s cell phone.

Carlos Rivera Luciano, 46, is facing third degree felony charges of lewd and lascivious behavior upon a 5-year-old after alleging exposing himself to a five year old child. Police arrested Luciano Tuesday and booked him into the Orange County Jail.

The five-year-old was reportedly playing in an outside common area of the Orlando apartment complex where she resides when the alleged incident took place. Investigators allege Luciano exposed himself and blew kisses to her while standing near a sliding glass door, allegedly beckoning the child to come closer, Fox 35 News reported. The five-year-old girl fought back, police say, by taking video of Luciano and showing her mother who promptly called the authorities.

Neighbor Kelly Tuite, while disgusted by the alleged act, praised the five-year-old girl’s parents for teaching her how to handle situations like that.

“I’m so glad they were responsible and knew what to do,” Tuite told the outlet. “They obviously have some awesome parents telling them what to do in a situation like that which is unfortunate we even have to tell our children to do something like that,” she added.

Luciano has denied the allegations and was released on a $5,000 bail. He has been directed not to contact the victim, the outlet stated.
