The United Kingdom edition of reality series “Married At First Sight” has its first transgender contestant, the show revealed Tuesday on Instagram.
Ella, a 29-year-old clinic consultant from the town of Weston-Super-Mare, “is a blonde bombshell with a fiery personality, all she wants is a king to match her queen energy,” the post’s caption reads. “I deserve love because I have gone through a lot as a person. And I feel like I deserve to be happy with someone that loves me for me and accepts me because I am fabulous,” Ella says in the video. “I was born a boy. I’ve transitioned. That’s why I’m very open-minded and just have a lot of fun, because I’ve had such a shitty life.”

Ella goes on to warn his future husband about his “fetish” for teeth and about how long it takes him to brush his own teeth.
The website for the UK’s Channel 4 describes “Married At First Sight” as a “bold social experiment where single people, matched by experts, marry total strangers, who they meet for the very first time on their wedding day.”
