Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos had two very different perspectives of their first on-screen kiss as they shared details about their marriage on Entertainment Tonight’s (ET) “Spilling The ETea” Thursday.

The couple playfully recalled their first on-screen kiss, which took place when they were acting together on a soap opera. Consuelos described the experience in a much more frisky way than Ripa remembered it to be.

Ripa didn’t seem overly impressed by the kiss, and even called it “rehearsed” due to the scripted nature of the show.

Consuelos, on the other hand, had a very different story to tell. He reminisced about the early days of their relationship and playfully recalled their first on-screen kiss, saying Ripa surprised him by “slipping the tongue.”

The couple seemingly didn’t see eye-to-eye on the situation whatsoever, yet found humor in the fact that their memory of such a special moment was so dramatically opposite.

Ripa quickly clarified that she didn’t offer up her tongue for their first on-camera kiss, and defended her position.

The pair has teamed up in life and in business throughout their 27-year marriage, and they now share hosting duties on “Live With Kelly And Mark.” Consuelos took over as co-host upon Ryan Seacrest’s resignation earlier in 2023.
