This is some straight-up propaganda from ESPN.
The four-letter network’s Andscape is reporting that “two high-ranking NBA team executives” told them the Toronto Raptors are the front-runners to land superstar Damian Lillard in a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers — HA!
Apparently, the Raptors have had conversations with Portland recently regarding Lillard; however, no deal was close to being made as of Monday (because, of course, there wasn’t), according to Andscape’s source.
The day after NBA free agency kicked off — July 1 — Damian Lillard requested a trade from the Trail Blazers, making it clear his preferred destination (and only one at that) is the Miami Heat. And Andscape (ESPN a.k.a. lyin’-ass Disney) wants you to believe there weren’t any real conversations between the two franchises in the entirety of these past three months. Sure.
Can the Raptors surprisingly win the Damian Lillard trade over the Heat? More in @espn https://t.co/vcK9eLZnbl

Truly incredible.
We’ve had three months of Damian Lillard pushing strongly to be with the Miami Heat. Anything from subliminal social media messages (here’s a recent one from not even two weeks ago where Dame called himself “the next Miami Heat superstar”) to threatening to not report to training camp, Lillard has made it clear it’s South Beach or chaos — for the Blazers or any other franchise besides Miami that trades for him.
I mean, just days ago we had this report …
Damian Lillard is expected to request a trade to the Miami Heat if he gets traded to another team, per @flasportsbuzz pic.twitter.com/4OnAXscm2g

Now we’re supposed to believe he’s just going to magically go to the Toronto Raptors? (LOL)
And speaking of Barry Jackson, just check out the confusion ESPN has spinning around his head:
The mystery remains why Blazers refuse to engage the Heat or even ask them for their best offer. Why are they so opposed to sending Lillard the 1 place he wants to be? Do they already know they hate every possible Heat asset? Is it pettiness? Bizarre https://t.co/YL2iWngIqj

… that tweet is the perfect symbolism of ESPN fibbing to people.
Man, I just love how they blatantly lie. Everybody in the South Florida market sees Dame is going to the Heat, everybody in the Portland market sees it and everybody in NBA media sees it — except for ESPN’s anti-Miami peddlers. And this has been going on for the entire summer.
I’m telling you right now — and it’ll probably come as no shock to you guys with the agendas Disney is consistently pushing — but I believe everything coming out of ESPN regarding Damian Lillard is a bold-faced LIE. Dame will be traded to the Miami Heat, take it to the bank. Don’t fall for this BS propaganda.
