The pretentious, self-righteous tools who run the Grammy Awards are apparently going to avoid nominating America’s record-breaking No. 1 artist because he’s just not their “cup of tea.”

Morgan Wallen is America’s favorite musician in 2023. He’s broken record-after-record with his iconic albums “Dangerous: The Double Album” and “One Thing At A Time,” but apparently his skyrocketing success and exceptional musical ability isn’t good enough for those who run the Grammy Awards, according to Variety.

But amazingly, the Grammys Recording Academy (who decides nominees) aren’t mad at Wallen for his 2021 indiscretion.

“I’m not sure people are still holding that against him so much as people on the coasts, including our membership, just not really resonating with the record as much as middle America did,” one prominent member of the West Coast Recording Academy told Variety. “It’s a big crossover hit looking at numbers, but it’s not like it was a ‘9 to 5’ [by Dolly Parton] — more like a ‘Cruise’ [Florida Georgia Line’s 2012 smash with Nelly].”

In the same breath, the Grammy losers reportedly said Wallen’s brand of “hyper-commercial country” isn’t “the Academy’s cup of tea.” Excuse me, but isn’t this the same group who literally sh*ts themselves when Taylor Swift vomits out another ballad that sounds as lame as the last?

It’s so obvious the Grammy members are still jaded against Wallen’s success. It speaks to their total lack of control over the music industry. And if their only punishment is to not nominate him for an award, they render themselves redundant. Not Wallen. (RELATED: Morgan Wallen Eviscerates Cancelation Efforts, Sets Country Music Record)

More than their redundancy, the childishness of the Grammy members’ disregard for Wallen’s success is pathetic. Back in Britain, we came up with a really easy way to get our feelings across when being faced with such blatant disrespect. We simply point a finger at the problem person — in this case, those who run the Grammys — and say, “wanker.”

And the Grammy nominating members are a total bunch of wankers if they ignore Wallen once again. They are clearly just jealous of his success. This whole thing screams as pathetically as Maren Morris.
