I’ve got my popcorn! Do you have your popcorn?! It’s on!

Two of the greatest to ever play the sport of soccer — Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo — will square off yet again, and potentially for the last time.

Playing in Feb. 2024, Messi’s Inter Miami will take on Ronaldo and Al-Nassr in the Riyadh Season Cup, according to the Daily Mail.

The two soccer GOATs last played each other back in January, when Messi was a member of Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) and helped lead them to a 5-4 victory in Saudi Arabia over a Ronaldo-led Riyadh All-Stars XI team. (RELATED: Transgender Athlete Who Allegedly Broke Woman’s Knee Threatens Lawsuit)

For more than 10 years, both Messi and Ronaldo had a grip on the world of soccer. In 2008, Ronaldo won his very first of five Ballon d’Or awards, and over the next 14 years, he and Messi won 12.

And now at the tails of their careers … Messi in beautiful South Florida with a growing Inter Miami brand and Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia who is trying to conquer the sports planet … oh yeah, ladies and gentlemen.

This is setting up to potentially be the most legendary soccer match of all-time.

Holy cow!

As a 3-0-5 enthusiast, a fan of Inter Miami and the game of soccer, and an admirer of both Messi and Ronaldo (with both their games and business), you better believe I’m gonna have a load of popcorn for this one.

February can’t get here fast enough!
